RUGRATS

Come on Eileen toora ta loo rye aye
Come on Eleen toora ta loo rye aye
Torra torra ta loo rye
Oh Eileen
I said come on Eileen
Oh come on Eileen
We are far to young and clever, and things won't ever change
I said
Toora loora toora loo rye aye

The tingling of my newly post-modernist thought process has informed me that Dexy's Midnight Runners were clearly singing about their love for Eileen - their pair of overalls. What other logical conclusion could there be? For when they sang 'things won't ever change' they were obviously talking about the fashion statement of donning dungarees when rocking out on folk instruments and dancing like a chicken on your local corner.

We're all bound to have warn them at least one time within out lives - be it as a baby, toddler, child, teen or even gasp/ shock horror as an adult.  They're probably one of the most versatile item of clothing you could own and don't forget the comfort factor as well. You can get short ones, long ones, low cut, high cut, dark denim, light denim, bleached, ombre and sometimes they're even bedazzled with sparkly butterflies. Have I influenced your judgement  you yet? If not, then continue reading on, or if your bored of my rambling just skip this and look at the pretty people in groovy overalls.

They've graced the pages of Vogue, the streets the Paris, New York and even Milan. Alexa Chung wears them on a regular basis, as does Niall from One Direction (I think it has something to do with the water over in the UK). Riri's shown how to 'grungify it'. They're perfect for summer AND winter. And I guarantee that no-one else will be wearing the same thing as you (unless you're at an overall convention)
