After many delayed promises, finally here is part 1 of my trip to Wizarding World. Believe me when I say it is perhaps the greatest place on earth.

As we walked through the cobbled lane of Diagon Alley, dressed in Gryffindor Robes and Scarfs and wands at the ready, I felt like a true wizard, although we probably looked like the biggest idiots. As we wondering through Olivanders we saw a the process of a young boy selecting his wand. From gathering everything we could reach in the owl post and Dervish and Bangs, to buying our broomsticks oh and of course wandering through the oh so amazing Zonkos we bought everything that was in sight.

Next came Hogwarts, and good lord was that amazing. So basically you walk through the deserted corridors, through Dumbledore's office, the defence against the dark arts room and lastly the Gryffindor common room upon enter the mirrored room of requirements. However little did we know what lay ahead. Swirling through Hogwarts on an broomstick enchanted by Hermoine we were chased by a dragon, which Harry defeats of course. Then next we swirled through the forbidden forest coming face to face with Aragog and his many legged children. Thankfully I was previously warned by younger wizards about Aragons appearance so my eyes were hesitantly shut tight. However this was when the photo was taken so I look petrified with my hands covering my face. As we sped through a quidditch match following closely behind Malfoy out of nowhere appeared the hood figures of the Dementors. Thankfully though Harry performed a Patronus charm and away went the hood creatures, not without a, thankfully failed attempt, of a kiss. As we departed from Hogwarts we were given a kind farewell by Dumbledore and his 'crew', which sadly ended our journey through Hogwarts, but not without raiding Filches Emporium.

Feeling a bit hungry from our adventures with Harry, Jesse and I entered the three broomsticks to have the long awaited creammy, sugary goodness of a butter beer and corn on the cobs. Deeeelicious. After we passed Hagrids hut we moved on to the Triwizard Tournament where we 'rode' a dragon on a. And let me just say that the blue track was way better than the red one.

But sadly after three days spent there it was finally time to leave. And with our last glance at Hogwarts we rode away on our broomsticks (literally, as we ran out on them).

Now I do realize I sound like a complete tosser in this post but it was far more enjoyable to write it like this, so please excuse the weirdness. However prepare for some more photos from the US of A.

Until next time..

xx
